-the directions were somewhat easy to follow
-we all go mousepads to keep
-learning a new program that has potential to be very useful
-opened up a door to see if this is something that I want to do
MINUS
-the directions were kind of complicated and hard to follow
-the teacher was going really fast and talked super fast so that it was hard to follow and see what he was saying
-needed a lot of patience for this kind of stuff ( somethin that I lack)

INTERESTING
-the setup of the school
-the things that they are soon going to be doing to the school ( aqaurium with the car and camera, the modelling section and the courtyard where students can just hang out)
-everyone was really friendly to show their work and it seemed like a nice place to go to school
-people who go to think tank get free drinks at starbucks
-the art that they have pposted around the classrooms was all done by the teachers and students who attend Think tank
-The students who are attending think tank helped us with our porjects and helped to trouble shoot

Cyberbullying

I think that Ms.Vans presentation was very eye opening.
It makes you aware of what really goes on and the consequences for what you do and how it hurts people. It would be a good idea to talk to the elementary school students about this and show them how things can escalate so easily.
- Make a powerpoint that is easier to follow and not so wordy for the littler kids, but also including the videos (maybe telling them that there is no death involved)
-Cyberbullying is always occuring and happening even if you like it or not and to make everyone aware of this would be a good idea
-Even to the high school students its still happening and we need to make students aware of what can happen and maybe show worse scenarios
-Since our class is very technology based we would be able to make a very good final product using Ms.Vans stuff and then morphing into something bigger that can "wow" everyone.

I really liked her presentation and now will be aware of things that I wasnt aware of before. Like how being in a chat room you can get tracked down so easily. It really opens your eyes of the information that you are posting online and howpeople can pretend to be people that they arent. I was aware of this before but didnt think to much of it. BUt this shows how serious it can get very easily and we need to make sure everyone of all ages knows this so that it can be prevented!!

PMI "Stalked By a Cyberbully"

PLUS
* it showed what is really happening in the world and how it affects people
* gave examples of people who have suffered from this
* shows the many ways people suffer from cyber bullying
* gives you an idea of how people feel when they are being cyber bullied
* talks about techonology and parents and how the two are related

MINUS
* didnt say how to stop it but just said that it was a problem
* gave good examples but not in depth ones, like giving a story of how it really affected a person and how much grief it caused them would have been better
* ended it with saying that "the genie has come out of the bottle" but just stated the problem and not any solutions

INTERESTING
* gave good examples
* makes you aware of how many people actually suffer from this a year
* the many ways that people are cyber bullied, even the ways that you would never think of.
