• related to what we are doing
• the design is really good of the building and just the whole school in generalour host provided us with many opportunities to learn more and more opportunities to come back for open house etc
• the people were really freindly and you didnt feel left out
• going to the individual workshops was really good and you learned how life at the school wasgetting to try the new games before anyone has makes you feel special and importantthe
• improvising games were really fun and got the whole class to act as one almost like it was a team builder
• being able to just come to this school was an experience in itself apart from what we did inside
• Made me really think about what I would like to do after high schoo
  the design is really good of the building and just the whole school in general
  

Minus:

• THERE IS NO MINUSES FOR THIS FIELDTRIP
• THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE FOR IT TO BE BETTER
  

Interesting

• the carpet and the design was really neatthe big screen tvs that were all over the facility were really cool
• the size of the class rooms and the setup are similar to oursthe room in which they do
• improv is really big and a good experince
• In general the set up and the design were awesome.
• the way that you have to be buzzed into the school like its not an open door
• the way that they can borrow movies and games from the schoolthat they are allowed to play rock band and guitar hero during school time
• even after hours you can come back to school to play.

PMI for Galileo Conference!

The Galileo conference was a very good experience that I am glad we were able to take part in. I made many new friends that will be there forever

Plus:

• Good expereince meeting with Candace Starr and Sharon Friesen. They taught us alot and it was good to be in a conference that was country wide
• Made many new friends that will last a life time
• learned many new things about the future of schools
• good feeling where what we thought mattered
• Learned many problem solving techniques
• learned how to work under a time pressure with a deadline
• Worked with many students from metro VAncouver who each brought something new to the group
• Had to practice our communication and presentation skills
• presented to a large crowd, with the media present

Minus:

• It went really slow at the beggining
• Felt left out of the crowd, everyone was dressed for success and we werent
• The material on the first day was a bit dull, but as the day went by it got better
• Had not alot of time to organize our presentations ( working under time pressure)

Interesting

• Met very interesting people
• The material that we discussed on the second day was entertaining
• Watching the teachers listen to what we were saying and really analyzing it made us feel good like we mattered
• Going around the tables was goood feeling like you knew more than everyone else.
• The whole expereince was good, the two preparation days and then the last day to present.

Improvements for the Windsor Secondary Website

The windsor website has many pages that need to be edited and that are either not there or blank. Here are some of them

These are the academicss:

• there is no math
• P.E.
• Choir
• School Trips
• Social Studies

Sports:

• Gymnastics
• Badminton
• Rugby
• Soccer
• Other basketball teams such as the girls and junior boys etc

PLUS:

• appealing to kids
• organized nicely
• have characters that kids like
• make it very kid like
• easy to save
• easy for you to access and others as well

MINUS:

• hard to use
• hard to figure out how to do it
• confusing for some kids to learn how to do it
• not as powerful as some other programs
• i have not used this program much so i do not have that many negative comments

INTERESTING

• i like the way that it has kid like characters and a kid friendly page
• goood layout
• a little confusing for some and not for others
• it seems like a good program that elementary school students would like to learn.

Plus:

• A good way to keep track of all of your assignments
• Easy to follow
• Good layouts, you can make your own or choose a ready made one
• Self explanitory
• easy to login and find your work
  

Minus:

• cannot hold that much memory
• the movie clips have to be less than 20mg
• in the future it may not be that useful

Interesting:

• You can only add pictures, movie and links, but nothing else
• As a class thsi would be a good program to help the teachers document students work
• I like this program, you can show all of your work without loosing any of it
• you can look at it at anytime
